Our History

In the mid-90’s Segue Ventures founder Craig Bird began investing in micro and mid-cap stocks as a method to maximize investment returns. Unfortunately, most companies ineffectual investor relations made due diligence efforts unnecessarily difficult, if not impossible. Undeterred, Craig began calling corporate officers and networking with industry experts and other well-informed investors.

Within a few months, Craig knew more about investor attitudes and the stock market activity of the companies he researched than the corporate officers did. Furthermore, in a few short years, this investing methodology resulted in over 1000% profit.

From this success, Craig founded Segue Ventures to provide quality companies with the consulting, investor and public relations capabilities they deserve. Too many quality companies attempt to provide their own IR or they hire a large firm to do it, but both methods often result in failure.

What Does Segue Mean?

Our name, Segue Ventures, comes from the word Segue (pronounced seg’ way), which means to smoothly transition from one part to another without a pause.
